Hello everyone, and welcome back to a brand new episode of Clubsonica Radio with your host and the DJ for the first hour of the show, Juan Pablo Torrez.
It feels great to be back after a short hiatus, and I’m really excited to share this new chapter of the show with you. This episode features a carefully curated journey through deep and progressive sounds, with a strong selection of music from Clubsonica Records, alongside releases from labels such as Movement Recordings, Mango Alley, and UV Noir.
You’ll hear tracks by Chicato, Abity & Las Modas, Ajaw & Rama, Gudo & Edwin Ajtun, Ignacio Hernández, and more. There are also a couple of personal highlights in this mix, including my extended remix of Caballero feat. Maria – Adventour, as well as my collaboration with Kamilo Sanclemente, remixed by Hernan Cattaneo & Marcelo Vasami.
Lucas Zárate is our guest for this episode, providing a powerful and hypnotic guest mix for the second hour of the show.
Originally from Tucumán, Argentina, Lucas has been a constant presence in the underground scene, both as a DJ and producer. His releases on labels such as Songuara, Kindisch, and Amulanga have showcased his distinctive sound, while his “Siamba | Sambuka” EP, released in March 2025, marked an impressive debut on Clubsonica Records. Supported by artists like Nick Warren, Sébastien Léger, and Hernan Cattaneo, Lucas now returns to the label with a brand new remix of “Amor Fati” by Gudo & Edwin Ajtun, set for release on January 30th.
His rework dives deep into tribal percussion and hypnotic grooves, blending modulated basslines with subtle melodic elements, slowly building tension before reaching a dramatic and expressive climax that perfectly represents the Lucas Zárate sound.
