Matt Hauser is a London-based Romanian DJ and producer known for his meticulous approach to electronic music. Born and raised in Barlad, Romania, he moved to London in 2020, driven by a passion for sound. There, he quickly became a fixture in the local scene, being a regular at clubs like Fabric and Fold, actively participating in London’s underground rave network.
Initially influenced by Romanian DJ’s such as Raresh and Rhadoo, Hauser has broadened his taste to include artists like Craig Richards and Kerri Chandler. In 2021, he also enrolled in an intensive music production course at London Sound Academy, where he started developing his unique take on house and techno under the guidance of Fabric resident Peter Pixzel. Being exposed to London’s vibrant nightlife and quickly recognised for his remarkable talent he has been playing at venues such as London’s Egg, Coqbull Soho or Maraton in Iasi, Romania to name a few.
As he continues to push forward as a DJ, Hauser is also contributing to the scene through his work with Nightclubber.ro, a leading Romanian dance music outlet, which has in recent years become a synonym for quality in underground electronic music worldwide.
