Known for his deep knowledge, uncompromising vision, and an unshakable commitment to artistic evolution, Alex is both a revered tastemaker and a powerful mentor to the next generation.
From his early days immersed in the UK’s late-’80s rave scene to earning international recognition across Europe and beyond, Alex has consistently pushed boundaries. His past imprint, Dogmatik Records, became a vital platform for the likes of Maya Jane Coles and Dusky, cementing his status as a trusted curator and sonic architect. Beyond his own projects, he’s worked behind the scenes as a producer and engineer for major labels and key players in British house music.
Since stepping away from Dogmatik, Alex has entered a bold new phase. During the early days of the 2020 pandemic, he founded Modern Explorer—a label and creative hub designed to embrace freedom of expression. Rooted in house but unafraid to wander through deeper, genre-blurring territories, Modern Explorer reflects Alex’s diverse influences and technical versatility. Alongside this, he’s launched a deep house-infused live band project, channeling his decades of musical experience into a fresh format.
