Dance TV DJ Mix 672 – ADMN (Detroit, U.S.A.) Tracklist
Dance TV is proud to present Dance TV DJ Mix #672 with Detroit’s DJ, producer and Infolines imprint head honcho — ADMN. Rooted in the city’s rich musical legacy, ADMN delivers a seamless journey moving from house through minimal into techno, all infused with that unmistakable Detroit soul. Blending his own productions with cuts from some of the city’s finest and beyond, this is a dope, carefully crafted selection with a uniquely smooth and captivating flow. Enjoy!
Behind a Clark Kent–like exterior—glasses, calm demeanor, and a knowing smile—Alexander Drazin, aka ADMN, operates as one of Detroit’s more elusive sonic architects. With a natural affinity for both music and technology, his journey began early and has evolved into a relentless pursuit of sound, shaped by the grit and depth of Detroit’s underground.
ADMN’s style resists easy categorization. Rooted in an almost entirely original output, his sets and productions blend raw textures, minimal structures, and heavy low-end into a signature sound often described as minimal ghetto sludge—a hypnotic, driving fusion that feels both industrial and deeply soulful.
His technical foundation was sharpened at Allure Sound Studios, where he worked as an audio engineer on multiple records, including Recovery by Eminem. This studio experience continues to inform his precise, detail-driven approach in both production and performance.
Balancing life as a network engineer, producer, DJ, and label head of Infolines, ADMN remains deeply embedded in Detroit’s scene, holding a residency at TV Lounge and performing across the U.S. He has appeared multiple times at Movement Electronic Music Festival, including the main stage in 2022, as well as virtual editions like Movement At Home and Paxahau’s Micro Movement.
His discography reflects strong ties to Detroit’s legacy and global underground, with releases and remixes for labels such as Planet E (including remixing Carl Craig’s seminal ‘Psyche – From Beyond’ along side Seth Troxler and Ataxia), and collaborations with Oliver Dollar on Rekids, Refuge AUS, and his own Infolines imprint.
Consistently evolving yet unmistakably rooted, ADMN continues to push a sound that is as functional as it is forward-thinking—built for dark rooms, deep systems, and those who know.
