Tygre is a San Francisco-based DJ whose sound is rooted in the marrow of bass music. His instincts were forged in the drum and bass underground of Philadelphia’s rave scene in the 90s. Weight, tension, and sub-bass are ingrained like a predator’s spirit. Today he moves between electro and dubstep, two genres bound by the same brooding intensity and low-end devotion. Resident DJ at Addicted 2 Bass (@addicted2bass-official), with appearances across the international mix circuit. His mixes are dark, atmospheric, and obsessively precise. Each transition an act of creation, every mix an artifact of sonic architecture with its own momentum and arc.
