Keyvan Moosavi is an Iranian DJ and electronic music producer based in Berlin, whose sound moves across deep techno, dub techno, minimal, ambient and experimental electronics. With a musical background that began at the age of seven, when he started studying the violin, Keyvan brings a strong sense of musical structure, rhythmic precision and attention to detail to his electronic productions. His work is characterised by atmospheric depth, carefully developed textures and an interest in exploring the space between rhythm and abstraction.
Active as a DJ since 2007, Keyvan’s musical path has taken him from Tehran through Italy and Hamburg to Berlin. Along the way, he has encountered different musical cultures and underground scenes, each contributing to the evolution of his sound and approach to electronic music. These experiences have helped shape a distinctive musical language that balances the physical elements of techno with more introspective and experimental influences.
As a producer, he explores a broad spectrum of electronic music, from deep, hypnotic and dub-infused rhythms to ambient compositions and more abstract soundscapes. His releases include the album Pa’eez and the single Norse Mythology, both released in 2024, as well as further work exploring atmospheric and experimental territory.
Beyond his own productions, Keyvan is the founder of Tonalogue, an independent Berlin-based record label dedicated to experimental sound and interdisciplinary collaborations between sound and visual artists. The label serves as a platform for his own work as well as releases by other artists, reflecting his interest in pushing beyond conventional electronic music formats and exploring different forms of sonic expression.
With a musical identity shaped by classical training, international experiences and a curiosity for the more unconventional sides of electronic music, Keyvan Moosavi continues to develop a sound that moves between the hypnotic pulse of techno and the expansive possibilities of experimental sound.
