HATE Podcast 490 Tracklist
Mathys Lenne is the 490th guest of our original HATE Podcast series.
For this podcast, I wanted to focus on a passage through tension, hypnotic movement, and atmosphere. A selection of tracks shaping my current state of mind and the direction my sound has been evolving toward over the past months. Some of the tracks woven into this journey remain unreleased, quietly connected to a project taking shape behind the scenes and meant to unfold in its own time.
Mathys Lenne crafts techno as a form of tension architecture. Raw, hypnotic and emotionally charged. Through releases on MORD, HAYES or Mutual Rytm, he has developed a singular language where mental intensity meets physical impact. His productions move between hypnotic repetition, cinematic atmospheres and fierce rhythmic pressure, always driven by a strong sense of storytelling. With his last album “The Poet And The Muse” on MORD, Mathys expands that vision even further. Melancholic textures, suspended spaces and visceral grooves coexist in a body of work that feels both intimate and uncompromising, revealing a deeper and more reflective side of his sound. Whether in the studio or behind the decks, Mathys approaches techno as a constantly evolving space: immersive, emotional and built to transport. His sets unfold like narrative journeys, balancing tension and release while pushing rhythm to its rawest and most hypnotic form.
