There are moments when I look around and see people from different countries, different cultures, different backgrounds, all dancing to the same melodies and sharing the same feeling. Music is such a strange and beautiful thing. It doesn’t really care where you’re from or what language you speak. Somehow it finds a way to connect us anyway. To create a space where, for a little while, complete strangers become part of the same story.
The fact that music allows me to experience this around the world, and with so many different people, is something I’ll never get my head around. No matter where I am, that sense of connection always feels the same. That’s what made me fall in love with music, and it still does.
Thank you for making this scene what it is. Thank you for welcoming me wherever I go, for listening, for dancing, and for sharing these moments with me. I feel unbelievably lucky to be a small part of it.
